Purpose
Resident functions are a way to thank residents for choosing our community. These events provide a social atmosphere that fosters connection and a sense of belonging.
Standard
Resident events should be held throughout the year and planned according to the property's event budget.
Bellaire Multifamily does not permit the serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages at company-sponsored events unless approved by ownership. If approved, an Alcohol Addendum must be signed and retained.
Employees may attend and participate in events, but they may not consume alcohol, even if attending as a resident. Violation may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Crime prevention seminars with participation from local law enforcement are encouraged.
Resident event vendors, such as DJs or caterers, must carry proper insurance. See the Vendor Insurance Requirements policy for more information.
To play recorded music or show movies at events, communities must hold the appropriate licenses (MPLC, ASCAP, SESAC, or BMI). Contact the RPM and consult the following sites for guidance:
www.ascap.com
www.sesac.com
www.bmi.com
